Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba

On June 21, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba within the framework of his business trip to the United Kingdom.

At the meeting, current issues on the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries, the situation in Ukraine, and post-conflict efforts in our region were discussed.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that during the past years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, the two countries have had various, including political, economic, cultural, humanitarian, etc. said that important achievements have been made in the direction of expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the fields. The minister said that Azerbaijan, which has always supported Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, will continue its humanitarian aid in connection with the crisis around Ukraine.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also informed the other party in detail about the current situation in the region, the peace and construction efforts of Azerbaijan in the post-conflict period, the steps taken towards the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the current challenges.

Minister Dmytro Kuleba spoke with satisfaction about the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine and emphasized the role of intensive contacts between the leaders of the two countries in this direction. Azerbaijan's humanitarian assistance to Ukraine was noted with satisfaction and gratitude.

At the meeting, opinions were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
